Ms Kouassi-Olsson also oversaw Amethis West Africa, Amethis’ investment vehicle dedicated to Francophone Western and Central Africa, for which she led the structuring and fund raising. She was thus responsible for the monitoring of Amethis’ major investments in the region, and essentially Côte d’Ivoire.
Prior to joining Amethis, Mrs Kouassi-Olsson worked at Proparco, subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement, as Investment Officer in the Financial Institutions team, based in Paris and prior to this, at Lehman Brothers based in London, in mergers and acquisitions.
Mrs Kouassi-Olsson is passionate about the Africa’s long term and sustainable development and is committed to change the continent’s narrative through culture as a soft power, private investments, access to finance and advocacy.
She is personally involved in various initiatives promoting women Empowerment, fostering entrepreneurship and phi!anthropy on the continent.
Mrs Kouassi-Olsson is an alumna of Harvard Business School and EM Lyon Business School. She holds an Ivorian and French citizenship.
